Kalee Plowman
Co-President + Mom to Evit
Kalee became a heart mom in 2021 when her son, Evit, was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. After undergoing all three staged open-heart surgeries in Denver, Colorado, Evit is now thriving and inspiring everyone around him—including his mom. In his honor, Kalee founded Evit’s Hope in 2022, which has since grown into Montana Brave Hearts.
As a Registered Nurse, Kalee is passionate about advancing research and improving medical care for children with congenital heart defects. She serves on the HeartWorks Parent Advisory Board, advocating for transformative cell therapies and innovative treatments.
Inspired by the resilience of heart kids and the sacrifices their families make, Kalee’s work reflects her commitment to ensuring these children have hope, advanced care, and the opportunity to live fulfilling lives.
