Fighter Friday - Ellie Jo

Tell us about yourself or your fighter: My little fighter was diagnosed at our 20 week anatomy scan. We were grateful for the time to prepare, as she came a month early. She was born with small left sided structures, and an ASD and VSD. She had OHS at 7 days old, and battled many challenges and complications, but we were discharged at 1 month old. 5 months later she had a stent placed in her aortic arch via cath. She was on oxygen from 7 days old to 9 months old, and has slowly weaned off all medications except the blood thinner for her stent.

She has an incredible personality, and is so smart. She loves to adventure and is a little wild child. She is having echos every 6 months now!! She has come so far and we could not be more proud of miss Ellie Jo

Can you share a memorable moment that embodies your child's bravery and fighting spirit?: She is pure magic, her light shines so bright she lifts up everyone around her no matter the situation/her pain. She is innocent, pure love.
