Ashleah Hall

Co-Director + Mom to Banks

In 2022, Ashleah embraced her role as a heart mom when her third child, Banks, was born with a double inlet left ventricle. Although concerns arose during an 11-week ultrasound, a formal diagnosis came at 22 weeks. To provide Banks with essential medical care, the family relocated to Denver at 37 weeks, where Banks was safely delivered at Children's Hospital Colorado. Just six days later, she underwent her first surgery, the Norwood procedure, and spent 38 days in the hospital before returning home, where she required ongoing medical visits but remained stable. At four months, Banks faced her second open-heart surgery, the Glenn, which was complicated by a pleural effusion called Chylothorax, resulting in an extended stay in Colorado.

Filled with gratitude for her resilient heart warrior and the medical team, Ashleah was inspired to assist other families dealing with similar issues. Her connection with Kalee felt serendipitous, as they both aimed to support heart families through Montana Brave Hearts. Looking ahead, Ashleah and her family are preparing for Banks' third surgery, the Fontan, when she turns three.

With hope for curative therapies, Ashleah strives to bring encouragement and hope to other families impacted by congenital heart defects (CHD).
